The Greater Birmingham Apartment Association (GBAA) has named Chris Tombrello Maintenance Supervisor of the Year. Chris was chosen because of his GBAA industry involvement, superior job performance, and nomination submitted by Greystone Property Manager, Anne Gatewood.
Chris began working at the Springs at Greystone in December 2006. He was hired as a Maintenance Technician and was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor just four months later. Chris performs all of his responsibilities with excellence and integrity. These responsibilities include interviewing and training new Maintenance Technicians, completing service requests, and maintaining the grounds. He also plays a key role in resident retention by responding to the needs of residents quickly and professionally.
The GBAA serves as a professional resource for apartment owners, managers, and suppliers. The Association provides its members educational workshops, industry information, and networking opportunities. The GBAA is one of only three associations in the United States which has an affiliation with both the National Apartment Association and the National Association of Builders.
