Yesterday the company took another step towards reaching its year-end goals by closing on a 19-acre site in Louisville, KY. The Springs at Hurstbourne will be a 284-unit property located 12 miles east of Downtown Louisville. The infill location benefits from close proximity to an established retail corridor along Hurstbourne Parkway and numerous employment demand drivers.

Through hard work, creative thinking and teamwork, the team hit the target closing date. Special thanks to Ron Issleb who was on site at closing because mobilization happened right away! Thanks to Larissa Addison who managed multiple plats. Sara Johnson once again developed strong relationships with staff and successfully rezoned the property. Luke Porath’s new nickname is “Mr. Checklist” for his attention to detail during the closing checklist meetings. Ashley Lazich and Amy Peters did not let their weddings get in the way of project deadlines. Paul Vastag burned the midnight oil to submit Investment Committee and Investor materials on time. Thanks to Camp VanDyke, Jake Meier and Christina Cahoun for organizing the investor materials. Finally, thanks to Mike Mertes for coordinating the last minute closing details.
