The Best and Brightest is not a term we throw around lightly at Continental Properties.  Each day we have shining examples of the talent and creativity of our team members and how they are paving the way for a more efficient work place.

The 2017 Esri Wisconsin User Group Conference (EWUG) was hosted at Lambeau Field on October 26th. Esri is the most widely used GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software and is subsequently used by our Market Research team.

Amy Arpke, Market Research Analyst, and Paul Vastag, Director of Market Research, spoke at the EWUG with their topic description: Learn how Continental Properties, with support from GeoAdvantage, is using an AGO-based solution for multi-user editing that serves as the foundation for ArcGIS Desktop-based mapping and analysis. The Market Research team innovated a way to have more than one person working on a GIS layer at a given time which was a previous limitation in the software.

Program limitations can lead to a lack of efficiency when completing projects for tight deadlines. Our Market Research team encountered this problem and found a way to circumvent the issue without spending outside dollars for system or licensing upgrades.

This is a great example of Continental team members proving that we are The Best and Brightest.
