On Thursday, October 28th, Continental Properties held our 23rd annual State of the Company (SOC) event at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Jim Schloemer (CEO) and Dan Minahan (President) kicked off the day by reflecting on the state of the company - Continental's accomplishments over the past year and the outlook for the future ahead.
Last week, Continental Properties hosted its 6th annual Design & Construction Summit at the Aloft Hotel in Rosemont, IL. Continental invited our General Contractors, Architects, Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, and National Suppliers to hear presentations on emerging technologies, Continental's design and construction updates, and future opportunities. The event offers an opportunity to share successes, lessons learned, best practices, new materials, and innovations. A key goal of the Summit is to retain strong connections between Continental and other critical firms on whose work we rely to build our communities.
Last month marked Continental Properties’ 42nd birthday. This past week, we celebrated as an organization with a Spirit Week. Our collective success and tremendous culture have been sustained by our most critical asset, our team, and Spirit Week is a way for our teams to celebrate those successes and have fun with themed days and fun bonding activities, including Mismatch Day, Twin Day, Monochromatic Day, as well as Virtual Trivia and Bingo.
