MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - Continental Properties, a leading national developer and operator of multifamily communities, retail, and hospitality projects, hosted its 4th annual Continental Cares Charitable Golf Outing at the Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex on August 29, 2023. Bringing together Continental team members, partners, friends, and family, the event focused on golfing, fundraising, and strengthening community bonds.

Continental Cares, the heart of Continental’s charitable endeavors, has been making a significant impact since its inception in the spring of 2018. The committee's dedication and passion for identifying philanthropic organizations that align with Continental's core values have been a driving force behind the success of the annual golf outing and the entire charitable giving campaign.

This year, the Continental Cares Charitable Golf Outing raised $80,000, a testament to the unwavering commitment of all participants to make a positive impact. These funds will be channeled directly into Continental's contributions to its charitable partners - Ronald McDonald House, Revitalize Milwaukee, Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, and K9s for Warriors. Each of these organizations plays a crucial role in creating a better future, and the support garnered from the golf outing will undoubtedly amplify their efforts.

The day commenced with a spirited round of golf, where participants not only demonstrated their skills on the course but also their commitment to Continental's ongoing charitable initiatives. Following the golf tournament, attendees gathered for dinner and an engaging raffle. The atmosphere was one of camaraderie and shared purpose, as attendees aimed for excellence both in their golf game and in their dedication to making a difference.

“Having companies who not only care about our community but also make an investment in the organizations bringing services directly to clients is critical,” said Lynnea Katz-Petted, CEO of Revitalize Milwaukee. “Continental Properties embodies this principle. Our partnership enables us to show up and serve our clients, and we couldn’t be prouder to partner with this incredible organization.”

“Excel was thrilled to be able to participate in the Continental Cares Golf Outing and support Continental Properties and the charities that benefit from it.” said Jeff Liebergen, Sr. Project Manager for Excel Engineering. “Always a well-run and enjoyable outing, we appreciate being included in an event that positively impacts important local causes.”
