Springs at Port Wentworth Groundbreaking Rendering

 

PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. — Continental Properties is pleased to announce the groundbreaking of Springs at Port Wentworth, a new garden-style residential community featuring 240 apartment homes at the southwest corner of Highway 21 and Rice Mill Road in Port Wentworth, Georgia. The community will offer studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes with private ground-level entrances and attached garage options.

Located along the rapidly growing Highway 21 corridor, Springs at Port Wentworth offers convenient access to major regional employers, including Hyundai MetPlant, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Savannah’s expanding healthcare sector. The nearby Port of Savannah, one of the nation’s fastest-growing container ports and a major driver of employment, is also undergoing a significant capacity expansion, further strengthening the region’s economic outlook.

As part of the development, Continental partnered with the City of Port Wentworth to dedicate more than 47 acres for future public use, supporting infrastructure improvements and community green space as part of the City’s long-term revitalization efforts. 

Pre-leasing for Springs at Port Wentworth is expected to begin in fall 2026, with initial move-ins anticipated in late 2026, following the completion of the community clubhouse and first residential building.
