The Best and Brightest is not a term we throw around lightly at Continental Properties. Each day we have shining examples of the talent and creativity of our team members and how they are paving the way for a more efficient work place.
According to J Turner Research, 75% of apartment residents use online ratings and reviews during their apartment search. Reputation management has become a major focus for most businesses, and Springs Apartments is no different. The way we approach our online reputation is a reflection of our culture - by treating our residents the way they want to be treated, we find that the positive feedback comes naturally.
Springs team members make a habit of following opportunity and taking on new challenges. Eagerness to use unique talents in different capacities, and in different parts of the country make our highly skilled property managers models for the rest of the company.
Opening new doors in Florida is not unusual for Continental Properties and Springs Apartments. The first move-ins for one of our communities marks the culmination of sometimes years of work for our Development, Finance, Legal and Construction teams, and as such, we all feel a great sense of satisfaction. Our Property Management teams also put in long hours, not only working leads, but also working closely with Construction, ordering initial office supplies, setting up Clubhouse furniture, and even ordering golf carts and leaf blowers.
We are pleased to announce that Springs at Six Mile Cypress is now stabilized.
One of the common traits of our Springs team members is their natural inclination to offer help whenever and wherever it is needed. We are exceedingly proud of the team at Springs at Woodlands South, who is involved in a very creative way to raise money for those impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma - a Food Truck Rally.
The last 12 months have been very active for Continental in the Rocky Mountain State. On September 6, 2017, we purchased land in Aurora, Colorado for our fourth apartment community in the state, Springs at Eagle Bend.
Every year property managers from around the country gather at the Aloft Chicago O'Hare with senior operations team members and other home office support teams. The 3-day event is an opportunity for our teams to share the values we all embrace as defined in our Continental Creed. It is also a time to enjoy spending time with peers, to celebrate successes, and to begin planning for the upcoming year.
I am very excited to announce the promotion of Jenny Armer to Director of Property Management.
Continental Properties is happy to announce the transfer of Lisa Schockemoehl to Springs at South Broadway.
