Continental Properties Begins Construction on Springs at DeForest, Strengthening Presence in Dane County

DEFOREST, Wis. — Continental Properties is pleased to announce the groundbreaking of Springs at DeForest, a premium garden-style residential community featuring 320 apartment homes in DeForest, Wisconsin. Strategically located northeast of Tierney Crossing and Dalmore Road, Springs at DeForest will offer a variety of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes with private ground-level entrances and attached garage options.

Residents will benefit from convenient access to I-39/90, offering seamless commutes throughout Madison and to regional job centers in Milwaukee, Janesville, and Wisconsin Dells. The area is home to major employers such as Kwik Trip, Amazon, and UW Health, with more than 250,000 jobs within commuting distance.

Continental worked closely with the village to develop public infrastructure, including the extension of Tierney Crossing and Glencoe Drive, which will enhance neighborhood connectivity and support future growth. 

Pre-leasing for Springs at DeForest is expected to begin in late 2025, with initial move-ins anticipated in early 2026 following the completion of the community clubhouse and first residential buildings. The community joins Continental’s growing portfolio in Dane County, which includes Springs at Pleasant View, Springs at Sun Prairie, and Authentix Cottage Grove
