SUSSEX, Wis. - On September 16th, 2025, Continental Properties proudly hosted its 6th annual Continental Cares Charitable Golf Outing at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex, Wisconsin. The event welcomed team members, partners, friends, and family for a day of golfing, charitable giving, and meaningful connections.
Since 2018, Continental Cares has been the driving force behind the company’s charitable efforts. The committee’s thoughtful approach to selecting charitable partners that reflect Continental’s values has been key to the continued success of both the golf outing and the broader giving campaign.
This year’s outing raised an impressive $155,000, a testament to the dedication of all who participated. These funds will directly support Continental’s charitable partners: Ronald McDonald House, Revitalize Milwaukee, and K9s for Warriors.
“As a member of the Continental Cares committee, it’s incredibly rewarding to see the hard work and preparation that goes into the Golf Outing culminate in such a successful and enjoyable event,” shared Lanae Haertel, Accounting Manager and Continental Cares committee member. “It provides a valuable opportunity for networking with colleagues and company representatives we may not interact with regularly. I'm consistently inspired by the generosity of our participants in supporting our chosen charities. Each year, we've proudly surpassed our internal fundraising goals, and I genuinely look forward to this event and the positive impact it continues to make.”
The day began with a friendly round of golf, where participants showcased not only their skills but also their shared commitment to giving back. The fun continued with dinner and a spirited raffle, reinforcing the sense of community and purpose that defines the Continental Cares initiative.
“Builtech has been a long-time advocate of Continental and shares the same values to give back to the community,” shared Tom Krolikowski, Vice President of Multifamily at Builtech Services. “It is one of our core values. To have our competitors, colleagues, teammates and associates all together at one event for the good of the community was very fulfilling. The enthusiasm was evident from the onset.”
“At Huntington Bank, everything we do centers around putting people first to ensure economic vitality, financial security, and a sustained future for all,” shared Terri Wright, Vice President, Relationship Manager – Commercial Real Estate at Huntington National Bank. “That’s why Huntington Bank has been a proud sponsor of Continental Cares since 2020. The partnership aligns with Huntington Bank’s commitment to strengthening local communities by giving back to support initiatives that promote and foster economic opportunity.”
