NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. — Continental Properties announced the groundbreaking of Springs at Colts Run, a new garden-style residential community featuring 268 apartment homes located at the southwest corner of Colts Run and U.S. Highway 27 in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The community will offer studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes with private ground-level entrances and attached garage options.

Located along U.S. Highway 27, Springs at Colts Run offers convenient access to both Nicholasville and the greater Lexington area, with proximity to major employers including the University of Kentucky, UK HealthCare, Baptist Health Lexington, and local employers such as Alltech, Walmart, and Donaldson Company.

The community will feature a clubhouse and pool, fitness center, walking trails, pickleball court, dog park, and outdoor gathering spaces, including grilling areas and outdoor seating. Additional amenities include a car care center, package center, and EV charging stations.
Construction will be led by Doster Construction, which has completed nearly 10 Springs communities and brings deep experience with Continental’s Springs product. Springs at Colts Run further expands Continental’s growing footprint in the Lexington market, including Springs at Hamburg and Springs at Polo Club, which broke ground in November 2025.
Pre-leasing is expected to begin in winter 2026, with initial move-ins anticipated in April 2027 following completion of the community clubhouse and first residential building
