Continental Properties Company, Inc. has been selected by MRA and Milwaukee Magazine as one of the 2008 Best Places to Work in SE Wisconsin. Continental is one of ten small size companies in the southeastern region to make the list. In addition to its recognition in the small-company category, Continental received three separate, all-size company awards recognizing achievement in managing a multi-generational workforce, engaging employees, and training. Continental received
First-place honors for excellence in employee training and development.
To be selected as a finalist for the award, MRA conducted employee surveys covering nine specific areas: pay, benefits, perks, work/life balance, turnover, employee development, diversity, community involvement, and employee voice. Companies were scored according to employee responses and feedback from the survey process.
Employees at Continental have known firsthand that there is something very special about the people that they work with, the culture they are a part of, and the work that they do. Professionals outside of Continental have taken what Continental employees have known and compared it to other workplaces. Now, Continental is receiving recognition for its achievements.
